A design without language is merely a mark but a design grown with meaning, rhythm and context is the mark that becomes a brand. Designing various projects through the recent years I have come to realize that we as graphic designers are responsible for the communication of ideas through words, signs and images; yet experimentation and new aesthetics cannot pull through without a thorough understanding of reading and writing.
Exploration is the most important process to a successful design. Stacks of word clouds and key values are the catalyst to a mental synthesis that is sure to leave the page blooming with fantastic ideas. There is a certain beauty to a simple mark; one that adapts well to its surroundings. Clean crisp relativity has the unique ability to transform a range of meanings for the design at hand. The challenge of creating the perfect story to bring a piece to life is what compels me to be a graphic designer.
